Choosing low sodium foods (or lower sodium foods) doesn’t always mean making flavorless concessions. We’ve tried a lot of low sodium food in our taste tests and some of it has ranked above the high sodium foods! Yes, salt does make most things taste better—but you don’t always need a ton of it. From potato chips to soy sauce to soups and broths, here are the best low sodium foods in grocery stores we’ve tasted.

Best Corned Beef Hash
Hormel Mary Kitchen Reduced Sodium Corned Beef HashRalphsHomel’s low sodium corned beef is almost identical to Hormel’s regular corned beef. It’s just a touch less salty. But keep in mind, it still has a lot of sodium—660 mg per serving. The regular stuff has 870 mg of sodium per serving, though, so if you’re really craving canned corned beef hash but don’t want all that sodium, this is the way to go.
